Big Scandal: Amazon France Recall Ruins UK Sellers' Sales Without Proof

This needs urgent attention from Amazon leadership.
We are facing a serious issue that is damaging our business. A recall notice issued in France for a product batch not even related to our UK stock has triggered Amazon to start issuing automatic refunds and sending emails to customers, without verifying anything or giving us the chance to provide documentation.
Our stock is not affected.
We are currently waiting for official paperwork from the manufacturer (Scala) confirming our batch is not part of the recall. Despite this, Amazon has already refunded customers from our account, without due process or legal basis.
This is a direct violation of:
General Product Safety Regulations 2005 (UK) – Regulation 9, 15, 16
Our rights as sellers to be notified and given a chance to respond before refunds are processed
Basic commercial fairness and seller protection principles
Amazon should not apply a France-only recall to the UK and EU-wide sellers without confirmation. There is no UK recall notice, no product issue confirmed in our batch, and no risk assessment shared with us.
We are asking Amazon to:
Immediately stop refunding our customers
Hold all recall actions until proper documentation is reviewed
Compensate any seller who has already suffered losses due to this mistake
Other sellers, please check if this is happening to you. This type of unverified action from Amazon sets a very dangerous precedent for all sellers.
Amazon, this is not just a technical issue. It is a serious business and legal violation. You cannot punish sellers based on assumptions or regional notices from unrelated markets.
We demand a fix NOW

The official UK government Product Safety Alerts & Recalls database was checked, with no recalls for Our products found
Here is the official UK product recall database for your reference: Skala / Scala

ASIN: B08BRF8JG2

Amazon has now acknowledged its error, closed the violation, and reopened the ASIN. However, refunds are still being issued to customers, even though our stock has been verified through a BIN CHECK as not being part of the affected batch. Our inventory is entirely safe and compliant, and no seller in the UK is holding the affected batch.
Despite this, we continue to see customer refunds being processed, and now some buyers are even opening A-to-Z claims with false allegations such as property damage, clearly attempting to exploit the situation.
This issue, which originated from Amazon's misjudgement, has significantly damaged the UK market for this product. We are facing continuous financial loss and reputational harm, and yet the platform has not taken proper corrective action to stop these ongoing refunds.
What kind of marketplace allows a situation like this to escalate to the point of destroying a product's viability in an entire region?
We need urgent escalation to stop further refunds and protect sellers who are in full compliance.
I know a moderator has seen this post, so why hasn't anyone responded?
So far, 104 refunds have been issued without any verification or requirement for the products to be returned. Even customers who purchased the item over five months ago have received refunds. Are we seriously doing business here without any regard for UK consumer protection and commercial law?
