I dont want to sound like a stuck record.

In response to a previous "Get transparency" forum post we highlighted some issues with the transparency program (from the view point of us being a seller - purchasing legitimate product from distribution - and the lack of functionality of support for transparency codes within bulk buy shipping on seller central - and no integration or support on Amazon Shipping (ship.amazon)

The forum team arranged for a member of the transparency team to contact us -

they did - and asked us for more information which was duly provided in detail.

this was acknowledged and said they would investigate and revert to us.

we have had no further contact.

the issues as far as we know are still outstanding.

Amazon should allow sellers to update older ASINs to reflect their brand name—especially when the seller can clearly demonstrate that it's not a case of rebranding, but rather an effort to align legacy listings with their registered brand. This ensures consistency across their catalog, provides proper brand protection, and allows those products to appear correctly within the brand's storefront.

Hi there,

How is Amazon ensuring that Transparency Codes are also applying to FBM sellers ?

Your insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

How come the transparency program allowed a misuse of it. Was selling a bundle for years, another brand came in hijacked a number the brand as it was unregistered. Added a transparency label and then forced IP claims on everyone kicking off dozens of long term sellers. Then took it out of the program as the goods weren't really theres just a bagged version, then they went bankrupt. Now I cannot relist the product. It doesnt have labels, but due to the old IP I'm stuck and had to sell all ofmy stock.

Hello - FBM Seller. When I buy shipping through Amazon (2nd class LL) Can you please automatically upload the tracking details to the order?

I have so many customers asking for refunds - but when I search the tracking number it's been delivered... and when I show these details to the customer they go quiet.

Why is Amazon encouraging buyers to defraud Sellers?

Purchased an item with Transparency enabled from two different suppliers. One batch came with Transparency codes other did not. Both batches are authentic and from reliable sources .

Reached out to supplier which directed me to the brand to issue new transparency codes so I can attach them. After contacting brand I was directed to manufacturer. Somehow now I'm stuck with the stock. How do I solve these sort of issues.

Once a product is transparency enabled unfortunately the existing stock globally doesn't wipe out.

Some CDs and Vinyl listings require you to submit receipts to show you are buying from a legitimate distributor. This is fair enough for NEW products but why on earth is this rule applied to USED CD and Vinyl listings.

This makes no sense and is impossible to fulfil as used products by definition do not have these sorts of receipts. It just serves to prevent legitimate Used listings and keeps the price artificially high for those who are somehow given approval.

Please fix this so that we can sell Used products as the system is supposed to work.
