Account Deactivated for "Inauthentic" Products Despite Providing Verified Invoices – What Can I Do?

Hello!

I’m in a frustrating situation and need advice. My Amazon seller account was deactivated under the Amazon Section 3, due to alleged "inauthentic" products. However, we only source from huge multinational suppliers, and we uploaded official invoices, receipts, and confirmations—all 100% verifiable with those suppliers and distributors. Despite this, Amazon keeps saying they can’t verify them, which is absolutely ridiculous because the supplier's contact info is clearly visible!

Additionally, Amazon has not provided any specific issue with the invoices or products. Instead, I keep receiving, what appears to be a generic AI-generated response listing a range of general issues, none of which apply to my case. They don’t point out exactly what’s wrong, making it impossible to address the problem. It feels like an automated loop with no real review of the actual documents submitted.

What can I do? Has anyone successfully resolved this? Any advice on how to get Amazon to actually verify my authentic invoices.

Thanks in advance!

are your suppliers wholesalers or retail outlets (not allowed)?

Sometimes Amazon require a letter of authorisation from the manufacturer allowing you to sell their products on Amazon

Do you know the specific products they are referring to?

If you go into your health dashboard, can you see any infringements of any kind that are asking about the authenticity of your products.

Just because you bought your products froma multi national supplier does not necessarily mean Amazon are happy with the supply chain. Warehouses and retailers could sell a whole host of goods and appear as reputable but they may not be happy that all of the goods are recognised.

You have to also ensure that the goods you are buying suit the invoices for example. I could go to the local market and pick up 100 pairs of copy or fake shoes and then go to a recognised multi national compnay and pick up 50 pairs of genuine and claim that they are all genuine by supplying a recognised invoice.

This is why Amazon will not point out exactly what the issue is.

If there is something in your health dashboard that has been reported as inauthentic then this would be the product or products I would focus on.

If the dashboard is clean, then you need to look at your suppliers. Retailers are not permitted and you will struggle with many wholesalers. You usually have to have a distribution along with a letter of auhthority to sell if you are doing particular brands.

It is common for the brands and manufacturers to report inauthentic goods being sold as well as competitors who also have existing agreements in place.

Yes, I have authorisation from the brand itself.

In fact, I just received a call from Amazon at 10:06 AM GMT, which ended at 10:18 AM GMT, and I recorded it. During the call, the Amazon representative repeatedly confirmed that my invoices are completely acceptable. The reason for the rejection was not due to any issue with my documents, but rather because Amazon was unable to reach the brand. This is entirely on Amazon’s side—they did not wait until the brand was open to contact them, nor did they provide even 24 hours to review or attempt to contact them again.

First of all selling "inauthentic/counterfit products" is one of the top crime in amazon's eyes which is very rearly be forgiven,

according to you, you sourced from multinational suppliers, ok fine

did you researched properly about those suppliers before purchasing inventory from them?

1) Where are they sourcing products from ? is it directly from the brand/manufacturer or through distributers

2)Are they a registered wholesaler or contains the licence ? (check there company's details on companies house )

3) What are the authenticity of the products they sell?

4) Are they able to provide any documentation if required such as there purchasing invoices (sometimes amazon asks for your supplier's supplier invoices as well)

5) contact the brand/manufacturer and ask the authenticity about those suppliers, do they recognize them as thier wholesalers or distributers?

you should have done your research in order to verify the authenticity

secondly you should have placed very small order at first for testing, and then dispatch 5 to 10 units only on fba and moniter the perfomance of the product, analyze if customers are returning the items or complaning about the authenticity (you can acess the data from performance tab>Voice of customer)

if the test is pass then send some more units 20-50

if the test is passed again (analyze for atleast 30 days after selling the units so that you are confident that customers are using the item and happy with that! no returns) then you are good to go, the products are authentic...

so now comes to your current situation,

if your suppliers are really selling the counterfit products then unfortunetly it can be very hard to activate the account as mentioned before it's one of the top crime!

well if your suppliers are ligit then along the invoices and any supporting documents i sugggest that upload the covering latter as well where you can explain the authenticity of the supplier to amazon, hopefully if any human will read that along the supporting documents, they can help you activating the account,

and i would suggest if rejected then keep uploading the documents again and again for 4-5 times may any attepmt reaches the real human.

if this not works you can accept the mistake and appologies and submit the plan of action to amazon and request to open your account you willl be care ful for the next time/

I hope you get your account back and be careful in the future!

you can contact me for any further assistance Kamranamazon @ gmail . com
