Some customers have an incorrect delivery address - and that's my fault!

When a customer enters an incorrect address into Amazon their items clearly aren't going to arrive. An A to Z claim will result in a refund and a defect. An appeal will be dismissed because the item's not arrived. And Amazon won't even have the courtesy to discuss the matter.

When it comes to Customer Service the other platforms are streets ahead of Amazon.

Just about everything on Amazon is your fault as a seller.

I have never understood , when ever i buy anything from any other website , details including email address and postcodes etc are normally verified . On Amazon , you seem to be able to put what you like in the address and contact details.

More importantly , 9 times out of 10 the buyer enters the wrong/incorrect address on purpose , knowing that the goods will be delivered , but they they can state it was not delivered to me

I did not get an A-Z claim for this after speaking to customer service when it happened to me, and I didn't give a refund. I guess it is just luck of the draw with who you have helping.

Yep.

I've had a first name, town, and postcode. Contact number a string of 7's.

It's astonishing that Amazon don't verify details.

Amazon should allow editing of customer address - can do that to Ebay. Quick postcode check solves quite a few problems.
