Royal Mail not recognising Amazon purchased stamps (label)
Has anyone else had this problem? I purchased my usual 2nd class / small parcel labels through Amazon and took them to the post office. The post office scan did not recognise any of them - so were rejected by the post office and unable to therefore be sent. I have tried reprinting the labels as well as cancelling the old ones and bought new ones - again exactly the same.
Any ideas?

I am back from post office- with a bag full- none would scan. Not sure what to do next- although the post office will still accept them into the system without being scanned.

I have daily collections with Royal mail but the odd time when the driver has not turned up i drop them in to the post office. Make sure all parcels are separated eg. Tracked 24, Tracked 48, Standard 48, Standard 24, Large letters and into sacks with the green(48), red(24) purple (tracked 24) purple & white (tracked 48) PPI labels per sack and then print off the End of day forms from the order report page and drop off at the post office. It is a short term fix if you only have a few parcels or a couple of sacks to send as most post offices can refuse due to the space required and health and safety reasons.

yes I had the same issue when I went to the post office yesterday, the ones I took yesterday morning were fine but one I took yesterday dinner time wouldn’t scan, don’t know why but my post office took it off me anyway. If it is a clitch then hope Amazon sort it for Tuesday!!

just been to the post office and had all the labels I purchased yesterday were rejected. Feels such a wast of time and effort.

Just had the same problem this morning. All tracked and signed for labels are fine but any 2nd class large letter or parcels won't scan and say not recognised.
My local post office guy is on the phone to Royal Mail now to try find a solution as Amazon customer support just say I must speak to Royal Mail.

that is happening to me too. I go to the post office to get receipts but they are saying my qr code is not recognised on the label so no receipts. Is this Amazons way of keeping more reserve account, as they have no proof the item has been posted?

Yes just now 2 packages rejected twice, I reprinted the labels but post office says not recognised/won 't scan. Is this an Amazon or Royal mail issue?

Yes - since Thursday no RM lables purchased from Amazon are not being recognised.
Takes a bit longer inputting the address, but if you buy direct from RM website their lables are OK
