In October 2024, I sent a shipment to Amazon JOT1, which was fully received. However, in December, I discovered one product stranded when trying to fulfill an MCF order. Seller Support advised me to delete and relist it, which I did, but it then changed to reserved status. I also noticed several more ASINs from that shipment in reserved status.
At one point, I was told by support that they could reimburse me for the missing products. However, when I asked how to proceed, they backtracked and said it was no longer an option.
I’ve contacted Seller Support multiple times, only to get the same response: "It’s being investigated." Meanwhile, I’m being charged storage fees on these items, in addition to having already paid my supplier and shipping costs. I’m now hesitant to send in new stock, knowing the same thing could happen again.
After 10 years of selling on Amazon, it has never been this difficult. Despite claims from Amazon executives like Dharmesh Mehta that we, the sellers, are Amazon’s partners, the reality doesn’t match the rhetoric.
Is it too much to ask for someone to take ownership of the problem and resolve this issue for me? Amazon has lost its way, and it’s small sellers like me who are paying the price.
