I am having issues with not receiving an OTP To my phone number for some reason. I requested to to get my account back by turning off OTP but they never emailed me back about turning it off. And for some reason they aren’t calling me back when I request and when I send an email request they said we have closed this case due to my account being deactivated. I don’t understand how do I contact Amazon about this issue? Please someone help, my number works fine and I can’t activate my account unless OTP is off.

Amazon require every account to have OTP set up so either you nor Amazon themselves can switch it off.
ask for the telephone call option when the otp prompt comes up and then they send a text!
I wish they would stop this with recognised devices - it's a complete pain
Hi, if you don't already use it - download & set up an Authenticator app for when the OTP doesn't arrive. It has helped me out several times over the past 12 months or so.
We are being bombarded with OTP requests recently. Every time we do a refund it wants an OTP.
Perhaps theres a tracking cookie that needs to be cleared? I noticed this happened started after the last major seller central revision.
Thanks
For a couple of weeks, I've been experiencing similar issues. What a pain!
Amazon has been logging me out multiple times a day, especially when processing refunds. The OTPs weren't coming through (SMS/calls). As further noticed, the Chrome OTP extension seemed to be generating invalid codes, so its presence is now questionable.
(!) Today, the solution was found: linking Amazon to the Google Authenticator app on the phone. Codes are always available and work flawlessly. While this doesn't prevent frequent logouts, it allows to log back in easily without any hassle.
I too am constantly asked for an OTP. I tried to switch this off but all that happened is that Amazon now refuses to let me give my landline (which of course is the most robust) as a backup recipient of the OTP. Any help in reinstating this would be good as I live in fear of something happening to my mobile..
