Unit is reconciled and not available for reimbursement

Today, I checked in the Inventory Defect and Reimbursement portal that there was a until which was damaged in warehouse. According to Amazon the matter is resolved with the following message in the portal:

Reconciled

Unit 1

Resolution date: 03 Jul 2025

Reason: Defect has been reconciled because the item has been regraded View policy

And on another page I am seeing the following message:

Can anyone explain what this actually means? Does it mean that Amazon is telling me, meh! it is just an item we are not going to reimburse for it so move along? Or does it mean that Amazon has replaced the item? Or does it mean that I need to open a case with the seller support about it?

Thanks in advance.

@Seller_cTMW3klxGb1Um Hello there! Thank you for providing all this detail for us when posting this thread.

The necessary next steps can vary based on the timeline of when the unit was being investigated, reconciled, and marked defective. To be 100% sure, I would recommend opening up a case with Seller Support to look further into the timeline of each of these transactions to determine the current status of your FNSKU, which will then let you know if you'll need to submit a reimbursement claim or not.

Feel free to reply back to this thread if you are still needing further assistance after working with Seller Support on this!

Thank you!
