Product Safety Recall.

Help

Case ID 10716089792

ASIN B07P3W8JJ7

Issue - Product Safety Recall issued by Belgium on this product 17/01/2025 - Amazon is scheduled to destroy my stock on 13/02/2025

Is there a Moderator who can take a look at this, it has been going on for over 8 months. All I ever get is an automated response.

The issue - about a year ago Belgium decided this product is a BIOCIDE. It's not, we have provided evidence countless times including from the actual manufacturer of the chemical that it isn't. But whatever we do Belgium seem set.

To correct the issue I was advised to CHANGE the listing to amend the description, which along with the rest of the evidence would 'un-suppress' the listing and the product recall would then 'go away'

However NOTHING I do to the UK master listing will affect the suppressed Belgian listing. I have tried running a DELETE / UPDATE on the UK listing. I have tried running a DELETE / UPDATE on the Belgian listing, on 22/01/25 AMAZON CUSTOMER SUPPORT tried amending the listing - Nothing changes the Belgian listing (I think because it is suppressed it simply blocks changes) and if I contact CS the response is 'lets try changing the listing.. 24 hours goes by and .. nothing)

on 21/11/2024 I received an email saying the listing had been deleted from the Belgian catalog. I thought OK I don't care - at least that's and end to it.

However on 17/01/2025 - Belgium issued a Product Safety Recall on my stock in the UK warehouse.

This despite the fact the product is not on sale in Belgium, is not in the Belgian catalog. The product is definitely legal here in the UK. The product isn't a biocide etc etc.

HOW CAN BELGIUM tell the UK to remove a product not sold in Belgium.

It seems to me there is some sort of error in the Amazon system that prevents changes to suppressed European listings.

It seems to me there is an error in the Amazon system that allows foreign countries to destroy legally held stock in the UK even if they don't sell the product.

What is the resolution? I am over 8 months and probably 60+ hours into this.
