Amazon ungating

Amazon saying the following on repeat:

"You have provided a unacceptable document. We are unable to accept retail receipts, online order confirmations, packing slips, sales orders, pro-forma invoices or sales quotes for approval. Provide an invoice from a manufacturer, distributor or your supplier reflecting the itemised list of goods purchased."

The documentation I am providing are invoices from Amazon. Do support actually look at the documentation submitted?

It's been reported many, many times on here that Amazon do not accept their own receipts for ungating.

Absolutely as above reply - Amazon will NOT accept their own invoices/receipts to sell again on Amazon.

Hello @Seller_50Zkyp38Bu1qw,

Thanks for posting to the Forums. Amazon requires approval to sell in many categories, brands, and products and in some instances restrictions and policies change. As the Amazon catalog grows, we continuously make new determinations on which products should be restricted, which is based on a number of factors. Amazon does this to ensure authenticity and customer satisfaction.

For this reason, you may be required to gain approval to sell certain products. In most situations, a direct invoice from the manufacturer is required. As your fellow sellers have stated, invoices from Amazon will not be an acceptable form of documentation.

A letter of authorisation (LOA) can also be a valuable addition to your appeal in these situations if you’re sourcing directly from the brand or their manufacturer.

You will find more details about this using the resources below:
