A-z scams
hi all, what do we do about customers that take the Mickey?
Customer stated parcel was not delivered. About £50 worth
Customer opened an a-z and was refunded.
Upon checking the tracking the parcel has been delivered.
I appeal the a-z and send proof of tracking and amazon denied the case.
What on earth is wrong with them? How hard is it to check the tracking which was provided on the order and on the appeal.
Any help appreciated

This is happening FAR too often - many threads about the same issue. Unfortunately Amazon say that the only real proof they will accept is a signature, and even then they don't always. It is SO,SO wrong.

We are also victims, i would suggest email the custome ron amazon and send them images and tracking and tell them to cancel the refund

Lots of threads about this. Scammers are becoming even more brazen. So many file claims on the day an item is delivered.
I had someone choose premium shipping and still claim it didn't arrive with all tracking, photos etc. After contacting me, they immediately filed an A-Z, and I lost. So, free premium shipping and free items.
I wonder where the tipping point is for Amazon? At what point do they say enough is enough?

If you have sent using signed delivery, then you have done your part. Open a case on Amazon and tell them that this against their policy. Also go on a live chat with them and explain them that you have sent the delivery using signed delivery and you have proof of delivery. Then Amazon will refund you the money because you have done everything by the book, and they are wrong here. If you have not sent via signed delivery then there is nothing you can do unfortunately.

I just did a quick bit of maths based on my own experience.
On the well-known auction site, around 1 in 2000 claims of items not arriving. Amazon? Around 1 in 50!
If I'm right, that's 3900% more claims. You cannot tell me that's merely coincidental. Amazon has created a toxic customer base.

Trust me you are not alone. Happened to us. Lost more than £250. Item was delivered to the correct address, signed by someone at the property. Buyer is saying he does not live at that address any more but this was the buyer address on Amazon. Provided all the evidence but still Am
Amazon has useless support team. Always on customer side

Right now I am even thinking of closing my shop, other customer are stealing by buying your goods and after few days they will ask for returns for no reasons. Then they will eventually send fake or use products, if you refuse to refund them they will claim A-Z against you and they will win. So I have withdrawn all my FBA products from Amazon and I am going to close my store. The scammers have won.

I once received a claim. The order was an iron industrial machinery part. The buyer said that he received an empty package and provided pictures at my request.
I said there are several possibilities: 1. The deliveryman is not very smart and delivered an empty box that is obviously damaged and marked as 5kg.
2. The thief opened the box at your door and found exactly what he needed. So he took it away.
3. I don’t want to be too blunt.
The most interesting part is that Amazon approved the claim, deducted my amount and refunded the buyer, but did not count the ODR impact.
The reason is: Because you provided sufficient information that proves order was actually received by the customer, we will not count the claim against your Order Defect Rate.
Should I be thankful to Amazon?
That was a $240 order.

This is where Amazon let's themselves down, on Ebay your back is covered when sent tracked, on Amazon it isn't.
