listing branded product as their own - no trademark violation somehow!

this seller has a habit of taking branded products and simply selling them on their own brand so that others cannot sell them (as he will kick them off). when i try the same i am met with a trademark violation and i cannot list them. i have reported this selling behaviour to amazon but they do not seem to care. B0B86P8X2X. if i try to list within a few hours i am hit with a violation.

is it a barcoded product? If it is you should search by the barcode.

If the barcodes listing itself has been disbanded then that is another issue

the ean on that asin belongs to the same named seller on the asin

as @Seller_ZJhFeE3tNKzfhsaid you should search with the barcode on the product itself to add on your stock.

We are experiencing similar issues. We are brand registered sellers on Amazon as well. About a week ago, we received a trademark violation warning on many of our own product listings that we are apparently trying to use unauthorised trademark terms. After investigating what the issue was we were shocked to discover that the brand on our brand registered products were overwritten with another brand. Raising the alarm to Amazon Brand Registry support didn't help the situation. While we were making our point that our brand was "stolen" on many of our products, Amazon deactivated them. What we find very strange is that Amazon would have the means of researching the history of those ASINs and determine what exactly happened. They should be able to see that back in December those products were still listed under our registered brand. Then in January they are under a different brand which has nothing to do with products themselves and the content on the product detail page. We tried to relist the products impacted, as new, but Amazon flagged the same issue: trade mark violation. Those products in the catalog with our registered EANs are now under a different brand

This is one of the many reasons why we are leaving.

We always try to use the barcodes on brands, but some sellers list the barcode under their own different brand, so we try to list it but fail to get anywhere. And then if you do try to list it as close to the brand as possible or generic, Amazon or a certain seller then tries to report the listing for infringement or parallel imports.

Same thing, every single week.

Hi HOMESLICE,

If you look at that seller's feedback many, many low-star feedbacks have been struck through by Amazon.

There is something strange going on...

All Best

Having the same issue, had 12 violations this week! I'm thinking the only way around it is to do the same, but not only is that not fair, it ruins the Amazon catalogue having multiple listings for the same product
