AMAZON REIMBURSED ALMOST 30% LESS AMOUNT FOR LOST INVENTORY

Amazon lost 7 units of a product from the fulfillment center, so I applied for reimbursement of the amount (COST OF GOODS) with case id "11232128652", and Amazon gave me only around 72% of the landing cost back to me, which is absurd, and it shouldn't happen.

Here is the breakdown of the inventory:

-----------------------------------------------

Total Shipped/Receiving = 10

Lost Inbound = 7

Available = 3

Inbound/Reserved = 0

Defective/Expired = 0

Damaged (Potential Reimbursements) = 0

Sold = 3

Refunded = 0

Removed By Seller = 0

Per Unit Cost of Goods = £16.24

Total amount of lost goods = £113.68

-----------------------------------------------

Giving total missing items of 7 units

I only got £82.32 from Amazon instead of £113.68.

What should I do in this case?

Have you input the cost of goods into the manage sourcing costs page? Unless this has been done Amazon will only reimburse you what they think the cost is. Saying that, Amazon rejected most of our proof of cost.

you need to open a case and submit invoice that show what you paid for the inventory. have a look at videos on youtube or ask chatgpt

I source direct from a few manufacturers and they advise you can't buy it cheaper, I spent a hour updating reimbursement amounts only for them all to be rejected example £31 item direct from manufacturer not including VAT was rejected(Amazon would reimburse £11.90) -its clearly not fit for purpose and us as sellers lose even more of the miserly earnings.

I've had a £80 switcheroo and was awarded £5 reimbursement! So I don't know who stole more Amazon or the buyer switching out the product!

For those sellers who have not been shocked or seen this page, its below
