A-Z Claims

How are you guys defending A-Z claims? we are having customers reach out saying they did not get the package when the picture of the package out front of their house matches up to their address, and then when we submit all of that, Amazon tells us we did not show enough proof of delivery? How can the customers word of "I didn't get it" outweigh the Fedex GPS and Fedex picture. Half of the time the customers admit they got it in the messages, but if they tell the A-Z department that they did not get then they will get their money back. its almost like the A-Z department does no research what so ever.

Amazon doesn't consider the delivery pictures valid and only accepts a signature as proof of delivery. The other way to protect yourself is to buy the shipping through Amazon and get it scanned by the carrier on or before the ship-by date on the order so you are protected under Amazon's buy shipping guarantee.

I am going through the exact same thing. It's the new way to legally shoplift using Amazon's own policies. It's happening every week now. Does no good to ship fast and have pic of proof. A-Z claims have to be done by bots now because theres no way a human is letting these people steal like this. The A-Z claim process is just a way for people to shoplift at this point. I ONLY have these issues on Amazon, and no other online venue, because ONLY Amazon allows it. So unfair to legit sellers in every way.

Hello there

After I searched relevant internet forums on this topic, I found that Amazon "customers" were exchanging ideas on this topic and instructing others on how to order for free on Amazon. Some even brag about photos of the goods they were able to order for free.

I also sell my goods on Ebay, Etsy and Walamart and have absolutely no problems with them there and it seems to be an Amazon phenomenon.

Recently it is no longer even possible to contact the customer after opening an A-Z claim to find a solution.

If A-Z claims are disputed by me, this has absolutely no chance and the same standard answer is always given.

So if you don't ship via Amazon label, you have to expect to damage your small business and forego selling on Amazon. And yes, there are situations in which sellers CANNOT ship via Amazon shipping labels.
