I'm reaching out with a pressing issue. We've recently been exposed to a copyright claim from a copyright owner.
We have reached a settlement with the plaintiff on July 19, 2024.
The court has issued a notice of voluntary dismissal on Jul 25, 2024 for our store.
I have submitted the dismissal file from the court via case no.15705464121 on Jul 25,2024, no reply till now, and my account fund is still on hold, in freezed status.
I am contacting this forum in the hope of finding the right department within Amazon to contact. We desperately need someone who understands the gravity of the situation and the importance of complying with court rulings to unfreeze our fund.
If anyone has insight or suggestions on how to deal with this challenging situation, your input would be greatly appreciated.

There is nothing that Seller Support can do to help you.
The plaintiff needs to email the Notice of Dismissal to the legal operations person at Amazon that is assigned to the case.
You need to request the plaintiff to email the Notice of Dismissal to that person and ask to lift the asset restraints on your account and seller ID. Ask them to CC you and your attorney on the email so you can follow up on it

it takes 2-3 weeks from the time that the dismissal was filed to amazon before they will actually release it. All you can do is be patient.

We were hit with a used ip on a 10 dollar ip claim on a used book "the author passed and the grandchildren was going after everyone selling even the used novel" They ended up paying all costs bc they had no clue they had no rights on the used market of the book. Took about 3 months of mediation and going back and fourth before court and they then dropped the claim and paid our costs and damages or threat of a lawsuit. I think it took 2-3 weeks for the claim to be taken down they had to remove it themselves.

We had a similar situation that after the case dismissal, it took 2 weeks to release the funds. However, after the funds are released they will be transferred by your regular dates not immediately.
We had to take a shark loan for several months to cover.

I have checked in on the case and confirmed with our team that they have not received the necessary documentation as of this point. Do you have anything that is currently being reviewed or have you communicated with the rights owner regarding the hold?
Without being able to confirm the resolution of the hold, our team cannot release the funds that are being held in the account. As mentioned in the thread, you would need evidence of the resolution to be confirmed for the funds to be released. I acknowledge this is a difficult position and I wish we could have influence on this, but our teams and Seller Support teams cannot request the release of your funds. Hi @Seller_ZHDFE3eOQXnTM, sorry to hear that. Can you give more details into this? I am not sure why Amazon holds your funds on a copyright claim as long as it is a "claim" and not blatant violation of IP. Let me know.
